Minimum Educational Qualification
A candidate must possess an equivalent degree or hold a graduate degree from one of the Indian universities established by an act of the national or state legislature, or from one of the other educational institutions recognised as universities under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956.

Procedure of Applying for the UPSC CSE 2023
Candidates must submit their applications online through the website upsconline.nic.in. Prior to filling out the online application for the exam, the candidate must first register on the One Time Registration (OTR) platform, which is accessible through the Commission’s website. OTR just needs to register once in their lifetime. You can do this at any time of the year. If a candidate is already registered, filling out the online application for the exam can be done right away.
Candidates can register for the UPSC CSE 2023 test by following the instructions below:
- Go to the UPSC website.
- Select Registration and set up a one-time registration profile.
- Log in to complete the application.
- Type in your name, birthdate, active email address, and mobile number.
- Enter all of your personal and professional information.
- Submit pertinent documents online (Candidates should fill out the Part-I and Part-II of the
online application form). - Pay the 100 rupee application fee either online or offline.
- Download and print the final, submitted form.
